Welcome to Akoofy. These Terms of Use govern your use of the platform — read them before creating an account or acquiring a book. By using Akoofy, you agree to these terms.
Akoofy is provided by Vasileios Karantousis, sole proprietorship, Greek Tax ID (ΑΦΜ) 134125385, registered at Lamprou Katsoni 10, Savalia, Amaliada, 27200, Ilia, Greece. For any question, contact karvas.dev@gmail.com.
The service
Akoofy is a platform for short audiobooks. Right now, all content is entirely free — there's no charge to create an account, acquire books, or listen to them.
We reserve the right to introduce premium content or paid features in the future. If we do, we'll clearly tell you what stays free and what doesn't before charging anything — you'll never be charged without prior, explicit notice.
Your account
You need an account to acquire books and find them in your library. You're responsible for providing accurate information and keeping access to your account secure. Each account is meant for personal use by one person.
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
The content
The scripts, narrations, covers, and all other material on Akoofy belong to Vasileios Karantousis, or are used under appropriate license. You may listen to and enjoy them freely for personal use, but not reproduce them, distribute them commercially, or use them to train other AI models, without our explicit permission.
Content is fact-checked and verified before publishing, with sources listed on every book's page. Even so, it's intended for educational and entertainment purposes and shouldn't be treated as a substitute for academic or professional research.
What's not allowed
You may not use automated tools (scraping/bots) to bulk-download content, bypass any technical protection measure, compromise the platform's security, or use Akoofy for any unlawful purpose.
Service availability
We do our best to keep Akoofy available and reliable, but the service is provided "as is," without any guarantee of uninterrupted operation. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Akoofy isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Greek law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we'll notify you before they take effect. Continuing to use Akoofy after a change means you accept the new terms.
